I don't want to make you jealous.....

I really don't want to make you insanely jealous....OK, yes I do - YES I do, YES I DO!!

Look at what my fantasticly talented mother gave us (Barry and I) for our birthdays.

A beautiful handmade quilt. Stitched with LOTS of love. THANK YOU MOM! We love it - now we just have to get some curtains and I am thinking I still don't love the green walls. hmmmm Atleast we have a wonderful starting point to match everything to.

Happy Birthday to me!

My assortment of cards and playdoh shapes! Lots of love for me! No pictures, because we were hardly home. Kids went to a friends in the morning, Barry took me to breakfast and then shopping. I got myself a little freezer and LOVE it already. Then pick up kids, home for lunch, I had a Dr appointment for my foot - it hurts!! Home from that, go to pick up the babysitter, Barry took me to try a new Mexican restaurant and then we walked around a bunch of stores (our favorite - half price books!!) What a day! Thanks for the calls and well wishes.

Happy FIRST Birthday ELLA!!

Wow! One year old! Where did the time go?! We love you sweet Ella.
Thanks for coming into our lives and making us so happy.

You didn't quite know what to do with your cake. But after watching Madelyn have some bites, you licked your fingers and said, 'mmmmmmm.' It was so cute!

I will let these next couple speak for themselves!I pushed your face in the cake - just a gentle push, but you did NOT like it!!

You did recover and enjoyed your birthday cake. Thanks Grammy and Grampy (she looks shocked you got her this book)Thanks Nana & Papa for the gifts! She LOVES the elmo. (I forgot to take a picture of the cute outfit! maybe next time she wears it)

More photos!!

OK - I almost got all caught up, but now we've had have Barry's birthday ( mom Street's too), Ella's FIRST birthday and my birthday all this week. Stay tuned for those!

Here is our lovely Madelyn who thought it would be a good idea to use the marker to put on some make-up. Just like mom. Now do you see why you haven't seen me in any photos on this blog?? Barry said to make sure and save these so we can show her if she decides to do a goth phase in her later life.

I thought this one was great! Our main train engineer with his side-kick studying at his side.

This is how Ella woke up one morning. She wasn't upset with the PJ's like that - she was mad I was making her sit still for the photo! How did she get her arm out?

New church clothes from Grammy and Grampy. Doesn't Jacob look handsome?! He wore this last week to church too as he had to give a talk in Primary. He did AWESOME!!

The girls wouldn't cooperate quite as good as Jacob, but you can see them in this photo.

Barry and the neighbor went on a toy run this year. It was COLD - like in the 30's. Barry was a COLD boy by the time he got home. Said it was worth it with all the 50, 000++ other bikes - WOW!

Yes, my friends - that is ice! We had one day of rain/ice. It was quite slickery - so we stayed home.

Nana and Papa Sandberg

What fun is had by all when Nana and Papa Sandberg come for a visit! Papa started walking Ella around and she loved it. She would crawl over just to Papa and grab one thumb, grab the other thumb and then start pulling to get him to stand up. She walked and walked and walked. Jacob jumped on for a ride this time.OK - I wish I had a video of this, but we were laughing too hard to think straight. Madelyn loves running around and around on her horse, so Papa decided to join her. Can you see the GRIN on his face?! It was the best.

Nana - in her glory. Rocking and loving one of her babies!!

Making cookies with the big kids.

Reading books to the baby!

Thanks for being such wonderful parents to me and fantastic grandparents to my (our) kids. We love you and appreciate all that you do for us. Come visit us again -please!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

We had a full house for Christmas - although there was room for more -we missed you Ehlerts, Hansens and Sandbergs.

Nana, Papa, Uncle Greg, Aunt Sally and Uncle Brian all came to celebrate with us. It was fun having people all over the place. I think we did pretty good and not driving each other too crazy.
We got spoiled rotten as usual and loved every minute of it. Jacob got many more fun Thomas things - I knew Santa had done a great job, when Jacob was off and playing and we hadn't seen him in days.

Madelyn got some beautiful princess clothes, shoes and jewelry -and she has to wear them daily. She is a girly girl!! She also got her own scooter! These outside pictures were on Christmas day - look at us - NO COATS!!

Ella Bella got some great recycled toys - which her brother and sister love as well (why didn't they play with them this much when they were theirs??)
