A little yard work.....

The happy hubby hard at work. We scraped up all the old mulch stuff and pulled all the weeds. It looks so very nice!

Jacob and Madelyn planting their flowers. We each got a plant and made a little flower area.

Ella was in on the action too - she was in charge of clean up!

Isn't yard work a whole new experience with "help"? They look like they're having fun. The zinnias (the big rounded pink flowers) will re-seed themselves every year if you let them. I planted those and allysum once and haven't had to do it again. I'd start watering and up they'd all come. We did real landscaping last summer and changed everything around...the allysum still came up again this year. I'm jealous of the grass, although I think that we do have lovely gravel now. :)
